so right now, i'm watching monsters' inc., and i've always wondered, how did the monsters learn that the kids' screams powered their town, if all monsters are really horrified of screams? was there one brave monster that decided to capture the scream of a kid, and then use that sound to power the entire city? and if so, what did they use to power their city before? or was it like caveman's time?
